Job Losses. Foreclosures. Bankruptcies.

Tough Times on Main Street.

Please take action to help now.

UJA NNJ’s Annual Campaign has always been there to provide the safety net for those in our area who need help.

We are not living in ordinary times. UJA NNJ is now providing another option to Annual Campaign contributors: the Economic Crisis Fund. Through the ECF, donations can go directly to those in northern New Jersey in need of urgent and immediate assistance.

Whether your gift goes to the Annual Campaign or to the Economic Crisis Fund, you can be sure that you will be helping friends and neighbors weather the storm.

Please indicate here where you would like your gift to go.

If you would like to contribute your professional skills, please click here and describe.

Ordinarily financial support collected during UJA NNJ’s Annual Campaigns is distributed to our Jewish Family Services and other frontline agencies that then provide direct help to those in the Jewish community that need it.

If you need help please click here…through UJA NNJ or our partners,
the Jewish Family Service of North Jersey (Wayne) or
the Jewish Family Service of Bergen County (Teaneck).

The Bergen Reads literacy program is part of a nationwide effort to help public elementary school students enjoy reading and improve their reading skills in a comfortable and friendly environment. You can help play a central role in remedying the problem of illiteracy. We hope you will help us toward meeting that goal in northern New Jersey. This initiative, which is run under the auspices of the National Jewish Coalition for Literacy, has proven to be successful in more than 40 communities throughout the nation. The reading program is geared toward students in grades K-3. more
